The Work of this project provides for the replacement of existing airport security fencing and the installation of a new heavy duty cantilevered slide gate including high speed operator and associated security access control. Location: 4200 Genesee St, Buffalo, NY 14225 Liquidated damages will be assessed against the Contractor for its failure to complete the project within the time specified as described in Technical Specification Section 01 11 00 "Summary of Work". Bid security must accompany each bid and must be in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price if the base bid exceeds $50,000.00. Bid security may be submitted prior to bid opening either electronically utilizing Surety2000 at online or delivered to the NFTA in an opaque sealed envelope. In the event a bidder utilizes an offline bid but provides bid security electronically the electronic bid bond number must be submitted with the offline bid. The Contractor shall perform not less than 25% of the Work with its own forces. The time of completion for the project is 130 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The NFTA reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject any or all bids and to extend the bidding period.
