The contractor shall provide 24/7 continuous HVAC system support. The contractor will provide services for scheduled tasks. The contractor will also provide HVAC equipment to include new infrastructure. The existing HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) contract will expire April 25th, 2024 and the RFP is still being processed by GSD - Purchasing Division. It does not appear that the RFP will be ready by the expiration date and additional time is needed to issue the Purchase Order, award the contract, and complete the full process even after GSD approves. The RFP process was also partially delayed due to staffing changes in the agency's procurement. The HVAC system is a major part of the resources provided by NMSA (New Mexico Spaceport Authority) to its customers and should any breakdown occur, it could be detrimental to customer and NMSA's own operations. The customers are billed for HVAC services, and they cannot afford to have any downtime in uncontrolled building temperatures, especially during periods of adverse weather conditions. Problems providing utility services could cause customers to relocate elsewhere which would affect NMSA revenues. The campus of NMSA is like a small city that provides utility services. Term of prospective contract: 30 Days Amount of prospective contract: $15,000.00
