Site work for a water / sewer project in Waterford Township, Michigan. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of June 14, 2024, no bids received. No definite date for the rebid.** All RFPs shall be delivered to the Waterford Township Clerk's Office in sealed envelopes. The outside of the envelope containing the RFP shall bear the name of the Company, their address, license number if applicable, and the name of the project for which the RFP is submitted. The scope of this contract shall include all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, service and insurance by the Company to complete the RFP entitled: RFP NO. 24-07 Maceday Lake Dredging in accordance with these entitled specifications. A company will be permitted to withdraw their RFP unopened after it has been deposited, if such request is received prior to the time specified for opening and provided that their identity is made known and the responsible party signs for the RFP. No RFP shall be withdrawn after the opening without the consent of the Township for a minimum of one hundred twenty days (120) from the scheduled time for closing RFPs. The Township reserves the right: to accept any or all alternative RFPs; to award the Contract to other than the lowest Company; to waive any irregularities of informalities, or both; to reject any or all RFPs; and in general to make the award of the Contract in any manner deemed by the Township, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the Township. Under the direction of the Development Services Department, the selected consultant is to provide professional expertise with the following services to prepare preliminary plans and to establish an estimated cost for this project. It is anticipated that this work will include, but may not be limited to, the following: a. Researching historical data, conducting site analysis, and performing survey work to sufficiently define the scope of the project and determine the quantity of material to be removed. b. Provide soil sampling and analytical testing required by EGLE, DNR, and/or other regulatory agencies. This shall include the analysis of the material to be removed for contaminants so that an accurate disposal cost of the dredged material is included in the project estimate. c. Prepare preliminary construction plans and establish the project cost for presentation to the residents and the Township Board. Preparing the project estimate shall include investigation all applicable fees for the EGLE, DNR, OCWRC, Township to determine the construction, engineering, and administrative costs associated with the establishment of a Special Assessment District in accordance with Act 188. d. If the dredging project is approved by the Township Board, Assist in the preparation and verification of the preliminary Assessment Roll for the project. e. If the dredging project is approved by the Township Board, Communicate lake dredging activity with residents and Township administrative staff. f. If the dredging project is approved by the Township Board, assist in preparing the request for proposals for the dredging project. 2. The Proposal price shall be provided as a lump sum, with items d, e and f above shown as separate amounts in the event that the Board of Trustees chooses not to move forward with the dredging. 3. The selected contractor will be prohibited from submitting a proposal for the dredging project
