2024 Citywide Waterline Replacement No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receiving of bids, for at least thirty (30) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive formalities. A. This project consist of installation of 2-inch to 8-inch waterlines and fire hydrantsthroughout the project. The Contractor will abandon 2-6-inch waterlines that will be cut and plugged. Meters will need to be relocated to the front from the backyards. Some of these relocations will be either long or short. A licensed plumber will be required to make all necessary connections on the private property portion of the job. The Contractor will be responsible for obtaining all required no cost permits. A "Right of Entry" form will be used to go on private property. COP will provide the form. B. Before beginning of work, take video and photographs of entire project site to establish a record for site conditions before construction. C. Work items may be underutilized, fully utilized or exceeded depending upon work required during the term of the contract. D. The work shall be performed according to City of Pasadena standard specifications and as mentioned in the construction manual. E. It is further understood that the quantities of work to be done and materials to be furnished may be increased or diminished as may be considered necessary, in the opinion of the Engineer, to complete the work fully as planned and contemplated and that all quantities of work, whether increased or decreased, are to be performed at the unit prices set forth except as provided for in the specifications. F. All work and disposal of materialsshall be performed in strict compliance with all applicable federal, state and local statutes. G. Contractor to provide all logos for project signs. City will provide electronic files for logo production. H. Multiple work orders with engineer approved drawings showing specific locations will be issued under this contract after the Notice to Proceed
