Site work for a water / sewer project in Comfort Cove-Newstead, Newfoundland. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Closing Time: 2:00 PM (NT) Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/05/20 02:00:00 PM NDT Work must be complete during the fish plants off season, October to March. The scope of work includes: 1. Supply and install of 350mm HDPE IPS DR21 pipe for the new water intake. Locate and connect new HDPE pipe to existing 300mm PVC intake piping as shown on the drawings, including all fittings, reducers, etc. 2. All excavation and backfill as required to install the new piping. 3. Supply and install a turbidity curtain as required to complete the in-water work. 4. All associated fittings and valves to complete the project as per the contract drawings. 5. Supply and install a new HDPE submerged buoyancy floats c/w stainless steel eyelet. 6. Supply and install a new 350mm intake screen. 7. Supply and install concrete weights and chains at intake tee to ensure stability. 8. Supply and install concrete anchor blocks along the length of the new 350mm intake pipe as shown on contract drawings. 9. All reinstatement of the area to original condition or better. 10. All other associated works as shown in the contract documents. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
