Site work for a civil project in Matthews, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project generally includes: Contract 1 for the rehabilitation of the existing water treatment plant and a new water supply well with controls and generator. Contract 2 for the rehabilitation of the existing elevated water storage tank. Bids shall be based on lump sum prices. Bidding Documents also may be examined at the Matthews City Hall, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above, upon payment of a non-refundable charge of $150 for each printed set and $25 for digital copies. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to Waters Engineering. Upon request and receipt of the non- refundable charge indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidders should note the requirements for OSHA training of workmen and the requirements prohibiting the employment of unauthorized aliens prohibited including the submission of an Affidavit of Work Authorization with their bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. This contract is subject to the American Iron and Steel contract requirements. No pre-bid conference will be held. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Owner: City of Matthews, Missouri ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE: Contract 1 Water Plant - $1,600,000 Contract 2 Tank Rehab - $400,000 total of $2,000,000 Question Deadline 05/30/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
