Site work for a civil project in Montreal, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Upgrades and improvement to the City wastewater treatment facilities. The scope of the project includes the construction of a Sludge Treatment and Valorization Plant at the wastewater treatment facility Jean-R. Marcotte. The project provides for the construction of a sludge treatment plant using the principles of primary sludge dehydration and incineration with thermal energy recovery followed by a thickening process by thermal drying. The new plant will replace the current installations at the end of the period of use and will allow the treatment of 2,500,000 t of sludge per year. TIMELINE: The owner has awarded an engineering professional consultant for the preparation of a design study for the construction of the sludge treatment and recovery plant (UTVB) at Jean-R. Marcotte wastewater treatment plant. Preliminary studies are underway. Scope of work, final budget and timelines of the project development will be finalized based on the consultant's study report. Note. The stated value is an estimate based on the expected scope of work.
