Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Urbana, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The improvements will consist of Class B Concrete Patching for 7-inch thick existing pavement and various curb ramps. All new pavement will be 8" thick and side walk will be 6" thick. Traffic Control required to keep properties accessible to local traffic. Class B Patching will be on Kerr Ave from Highland Dr to Carroll Ave and Curb Ramp improvements will be at the intersections of Geraldine Ave & Kerr Ave, Sycamore St & Park St, and Cottage Grove Ave & Park St. This project will also consist of a 15' stretch of Sidewalk improvement on Kerr Ave and 65' of Brick Sidewalk improvements on Sycamore St. Deadline For Questions: May 17, 2024 The City of Urbana is seeking assistance with construction of Class B pavement patching on Kerr Avenue from Highland Drive to Carroll Avenue and reconstruction of various sidewalk curb ramps in Urbana's TIF 4 (Cunningham Avenue TIF) District.
