Kahuku High and Intermediate School - Furnish and Install New Lockers in the Gym Boys and Girls LRs Contractor to provide: Assembled Lyon Heavy Duty Lockers or approved equal and installation of lockers in the V Bldg Boys and Girls Locker Rooms: o Locker size: 15"W x 18"D x 72"H, 2 Tier Lockers o 80 Openings (40 Frames), no legs o 80 Number Plates o Perforated Doors o Recessed Handle o Slope Tops o Galvanealled o Powder Coat Finish o All lockers shall be painted inside and out. Color to be selected by school. o Contractor must be able to deliver and install the lockers in the V Bldg Gym 2 nd Flr Locker Rooms. This building does not have an elevator. II. School to provide concrete pads for lockers. III. General Requirements a. The Contractor shall ensure adequate safety precautions to protect the surrounding structures, school personnel, and the public by providing temporary and maintaining high visibility barriers or signs for safety. b. Contractor shall protect work from any unforeseen inclement weather and is responsible for any subsequent damages related to the work. c. Any damage to existing wall, utilities and surrounding areas in close proximity of project during the installation shall be repaired by the Contractor to the satisfaction of school and at no cost to the State of Hawaii and the Department of Education. d. Rubbish and debris resulting from this project shall be removed daily to a legal disposal area outside from the school campus. Contractor shallcomply with all applicable laws, ordinances, and codes of the federal, state, and local governments to properly dispose of all construction debris (including air conditioning equipment). e. Smoking or use of tobacco products is prohibited anywhere on school property. f. All workers must dress and conduct themselves properly at all times. g. All workers must be paid the prevailing wage. h. All Jobs over $50,000 require a performance and payment bond before a purchase order can be issued
