Renovation of an educational facility in Dewey, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and expenses necessary to complete the project consisting of but not limited to: roof replacement and associated work as shown in plans and specifications on file in the architect's office. Proposals shall be accompanied by a five percent (5%) bid guarantee. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays) before the time set for receiving bids as well as bids received after the time set for receipt of bids will not be considered and will be returned unopened. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to select the lowest and best bid. The Owner reserves the right to accept the bid which, in their judgment, is the lowest and best bid, to reject any or all bids, and to waive irregularities in bids. The selected bidder will be responsible for the provision of a draft contract that will be in the form of a Cost Plus Fee with a Guaranteed Maximum Price contract The time of completion of the work is a basic consideration of the contract. It will be necessary that the bidder satisfy the Owner of his ability to complete the work within the stipulated time. The time of completion must not exceed twelve (12) months from the date a Notice to Proceed is issued. Consideration will be given to bidders who demonstrate the ability to complete the project in a shorter time frame.
