Question Deadline: Wed May 15, 2024 12:00:00 PM (EDT) Duration in months: 6 This Request for Proposal (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara ("Niagara Region") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Ontario St SPS Subsurface Utility Engineering Investigation The sanitary sewer from Greenlane to the Ontario St PS will require replacement and upsizing as part of this project, which includes approximately 145m of local (Town of Lincoln) 600 mm AC sanitary sewer, 1.1 km of 600 mm AC sanitary trunk sewer and 300 m of 750 mm AC sanitary trunk sewer. The new sanitary sewer will include two (2) major crossings; CN rail and QEW. A forcemain replacement is also required to support the increase in PS capacity, which involves replacing and upsizing approximately 2.9 km of forcemain. The SUE Services include location of all utilities along Ontario Street from Greenlane to the Ontario Street Pumping Station and along North Service Road from Ontario Street to Durham Road, including the Odour Facility area located on Thirty Road. Refer to Appendix D for Maps of area to be covered under SUE. The objective of this undertaking is to retain professional services of a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) company to perform an American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Standard Guideline 38-02 investigation The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
