There will be liquidated damages of $200.00 per day that the project is not completed by the time frame determined at the job walk. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price payable to WEBER SCHOOL DISTRICT as a guarantee that the bidder, if his bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Contract, secure payment of worker's compensation insurance and furnish a satisfactory, faithful performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred (100%) of the contract price. Project includes, but is not limited to mechanical work involving the demolition of the existing steam boiler, heat exchangers, steam and condensate piping, heating hot water piping, pumps, domestic water heating equipment and tanks. The project also includes, but is not limited to electrical work involving the demolition of the existing electrical systems serving the boiler, pumps, mechanical equipment etc. and the installation of new conduit and conductors, variable frequency drives and disconnects for serving the new boilers, and pumps. The Board of Education, Weber School District, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes or any portion thereof and to waive any abnormalities during the bidding process as the District deems to be in their best interest.
