Site work for a water / sewer project in Cheshire, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replacement of existing portions of water mains and service connections along North State Road from Arnold Court to East View Drive. The Town of Cheshire, acting through its Board of Selectmen, invites sealed bids for water line replacement activities along a portion of North State Road in the Town of Cheshire. Project site is located on a portion of North State Road between the Arnold Court and East View Drive intersections. The project shall include trenching along the right-of-way for the installation of 8-inch diameter ductile iron water line. Total length of installation is approximately 2,700-feet. Bid prices shall include all equipment, labor, and material for a complete in place portion of water line. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make written request to the Project Engineer at cwalker@berkshireengineering.com Questions must be received at least 48 hours prior to the opening of the bids.
