Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Grinnell, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Grinnell Parks and Recreation Department is requesting quotes for the construction and installation of an extension to the Central Park playground with inclusive play equipment. Quotes should focus on: Excavation and grading of site. Contractor to provide drainage. Concrete work to include installation and grading of new sidewalk and curbing. Installation of $156,000 playground equipment by a Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI). Any questions regarding this process are to be directed to Jordan Allsup, Parks & Recreation Director, by calling 641-236-2620 or via email jallsup@grinnelliowa.gov. The City of Grinnell reserves the right to request additional information from Vendors during any phase of the proposal evaluation process. During the evaluation and selection process, the City may require the presence of Vendor's representatives. Vendors are required to travel at their own expense for the demonstration of the product and answer questions; vendors may be asked to participate in a video conference or a conference by telephone. Notification of any such requirements will be given as necessary The City of Grinnell reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes.
