Furnish all, materials, Devices and Panels install the Fire Alarm Replacement for the NCCIW Falcon, Sparrow and Phoenix Buildings at 1034 Brag Street Raleigh, NC 27610. Fire Alarm Replacement shall be performed in accordance with the included NCDAC Fire Alarm Replacement Scope of work document and in accordance with the included NCDAC Any scope of work-related questions, clarifications, or assumptions made that would change the drawings or specifications shall be submitted during the bid package review period. Responses to pre-bid scope of workrelated questions, clarifications, or assumptions will be issued in an addendum so that all bidders have an opportunity to review. NCDAC requires that, for construction contracts with a value of $5000 or greater, the contractor shall comply with the document Guidelines for Recruitment and Selection of Minority Businesses for Participation in State Construction Contracts including Identification of Minority Business Participation, Affidavits A, B, C, and D, and Appendix E. These forms provided herein are hereby incorporated and made a part of this contract. A bidder's failing to comply with this requirement will be considered non-responsive and will result in bid rejection. The NCDPS imposed contract threshold of $5000 for HUB recruitment supersedes any reference to a higher threshold that may be noted in the bid documents, within referenced documents, or within any regulatory requirement. No bid may be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of 90 days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities. ***Bid Date event description : Any individuals wishing to attend the bid opening have two options to attend. The bid opening will also be available at 2020 Yonkers Road, Raleigh, NC 27604, by contacting Rodney Gregory at (919)324-1293 rodney.gregory@dac.nc.gov at least 2 business days prior to bid opening so that a room of adequate size can be reserved to allow for social distancing. If attending in person, individuals must enter through Door 4 and tell reception they are there for a bid opening with Rodney Gregory and (919)324-1293. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to bid opening.
