The Maryland School for the Deaf is soliciting a vendor to provide heating pump and valve repairs in the Denton building on the Columbia Campus Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged and invited to respond to the solicitation notice. The Maryland School for the Deaf actively supports the statewide MBE program and invites the participation of minority businesses in this business opportunity. An offeror who has received this solicitation from a source other that the Procurement Officer should immediately notify the Procurement Officer's to add its name, address and telephone number to the Procurement officer's Contractor list. If such an offeror fails to notify the Procurement Officer, the offeror accepts full responsibility for any failure to notify it of any communications, such as Addenda, issued by the Procurement Officer. All communications regarding this solicitation are to be made solely through the Procurement Officer or his designee. The contractor is to provide all labor, supervision, supplies and materials etc. to complete the project. B. Scope of the Work: The Maryland School for the Deaf needs heating pump and valve repairs in the Denton Building project start date will be mutually agreed upon by the winning vendor and the maintenance supervisor (David Deel). C. Specifications: 1. Pump #1-Pump seal. 2. Disassemble the pump to access the pump seal. 3. Demo, remove and dispose of properly the defective pump seal. 4. Furnish and install (1) OEM replacement pump seal and gaskets. 5. Reassemble the pump assembly with new bolt and gasket kits. 6. Check the operation of the pump. 7. Price #2-Triple Duty Valve. 8. Demo, remove and dispose of properly the defective triple duty valve. 9. Furnish and install (1) TACO replacement triple duty valve. 10. Check for leaks. 11. Cleanup the job site of all trash and debris and dispose of properly
