**As of July 17, 2024 project was awarded but awarded amount is not available.** The Contractor shall be responsible for the final trail location, clearing and grubbing the corridor, building the trail within 50' of the identified flagged corridor, and remaining on city property. Complies with the specifications and guidelines herein and generally acceptable mountain bike trail building practices and guidelines. The scope of work consists of: 1. Approximately a total of 11.7 miles (61,776LF) of new trail construction a. 6.58 miles of more difficult (blue square) dual-use (bike/hike) trail construction b. 0.30 miles of identified dual-use (bike/hike) reroutes c. 3.54 miles of more difficult (blue square) descent/MTB only d. 1.31 miles of very difficult (black diamond) descent/MTB only 2. Implementation of City-provided soil erosion control plan 3. Following detailed construction notes provided by the trail design consultant The City of Grants Pass, Oregon, is soliciting sealed written proposals from qualified trail construction contractors for the development of approximately 11.7 miles of new dual-purpose and single-use trails, including reroutes, mountain biking descending- and climb-only trails, and two-way routes for hiking and mountain biking. This first phase is being built only on the Cityowned parcels. This RFP represents the initial step in soliciting proposals from a qualified trail construction contractor. Responses to this RFP should demonstrate the Contractor's specific expertise in developing dual-use trails and mountain bike-optimized singletracks within the scope that the City has established. Further, the respondents shall demonstrate knowledge of IMBA Guidelines and trail construction BMP. The City's selection process will be based upon an evaluation of the submitted proposals by a selection team and ranked on the following criteria.
