Renovation of a municipal facility in Hudson, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 15,308-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility.
RFIs and questions received after close of day on Wednesday July 24, 2024 will NOT be answered The project will be bid as a Single Prime Contract with Plumbing, Fire Alarm, Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil as subcontracts. Unless other possible considerations come into play, the project will be awarded to the qualified contractor with the lowest bid. The project consists of the addition of an elevator to the two-story Town of Hudson HUB Center Building. The elevator will be located on the exterior of the existing building, connecting on the back of the building beside the egress stairway on the northeast back corner of the building Bid Security of 5% of the bid in Cash, Certified Check, or Bid Bond is required. Performance and Payment bonds for 100% of the contract's sum will be required. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for a period of forty-five (45) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.
