Site work and renovation of a civil project in Fargo, North Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Work generally consists of the removal and replacement of the rake arms and rake arm towers in all three (3) secondary softening basins; remanufacturing of one (1) basin drive and gearbox; stripping, repairing, and recoating the carbon steel components within all basins; replacing aging valves, select piping, and actuators in the softening basin sludge pits; blasting and recoating of pipe in the softening basin sludge pits; blasting and painting the exterior of eight (8) dry storage chemical silos; removal and replacement of four (4) soda ash feed systems and related appurtenances; and the removal and replacement of one (1) lime feeder, slaker, grit separator, and associated appurtenances. AE2S Project No. P00803-2021-009 Bid security: must be in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the bid and must be in the form of a bidder's bond. A bidder's bond must be executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety, conditioned that if the principal's bid is accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, the principal, within ten (10) days after the notice of award, shall execute a contract in accordance with the terms of the bid and the bid bond and any condition of the governing body. A countersignature of a bid bond is not required under this section. If a successful bidder does not execute a contract within the ten (10) days allowed, the bidder's bond must be forfeited to the governing body and the project awarded to the next lowest responsible bidder. Est. Completion Date: May 1, 2026 The work for each contract must be completed no later than the following: Substantial Completion: April 3, 2026 Final Completion: May 1, 2026 All Bids will be made on the basis of cash payment for such work. The Board of City Commissioners of the City of Fargo, North Dakota, reserves the right to hold all bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the first day fixed for the opening of the bids, and the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
