Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Gulfport, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and water / sewer project.
The work consists of, but is not limited to:Furnish all materials, equipment, labor, and supervision and performing all operations necessary for the completion of Mississippi State Port Authority "Shed 50 Repairs" project at Gulfport, Mississippi as described in the contract documents. Generally, the project includes repairs to the existing Shed 50 and installation of a new fire protection system. The repairs include: replacing gutters and downspouts, miscellaneous demolition, installation of overhead doors, removing and replacing metal siding, installing canopy roof panels, under wharf concrete repairs, structural steel frame modifications, installing underground water lines, fire suppression upgrades, and electrical upgrades. Each Bid must be accompanied by cash, a cashier's check, certified check, or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total Bid amount. The power of attorney for the bonding company's agent should be on file with the Mississippi State Port Authority or should accompany the Bid, and the Bid Bond must be furnished by a corporate surety company qualified to do business in Mississippi. The Authority reserves the right to reject all Bids as well as any Bid that does not comply with this Advertisement to Bid and the Authority's Information for Bidders. Cut off for questions will be Monday, June 3rd at 12:00 pm.
