Milling and Asphalt Paving, Concrete Curb and Sidewalk Construction at the Cornell Cooperative Extension - The intent of these specifications is to furnish information to responsible bidders for the purpose of obtaining bids for MILLING AND ASPHALT PAVING, CURB AND SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION AT THE CORNELL COOPERATIVE EXTENSION as requested by ALBANY COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS. Work location is 24 Martin Rd., Voorheesville, NY 12186. Work includes milling 4 inches of asphalt from parking lot(s); repaving with 2 1/2 inches of asphalt binder and 1 1/2 inches of asphalt top; removing existing curb and sidewalk; installing new curb and ADA compliant sidewalk and ramps. Add Alternate items include milling and paving an additional parking lot and replacing storm drain manholes and pipe. The subcontracting participation goals for County public procurements are: to award 7% of the total dollar value of the contract to a certified MBE. to award 5% of the total dollar value of the contract to a certified WBE. The workforce goals for County public procurements are as follows: 7% of the total workforce should be minorities. 5% of the total workforce should be women.
