As stated in the Special Provisions, CONTRACTOR shall begin work within ten (10) working days after the Notice to Proceed that the 2024 Annual Guardrail Repair, RDS 24-02 Project is ready to proceed. CONTRACTOR shall complete the work thirty-five (35) working days. The Contractor shall possess a valid Class "A" license, C-13, or C-32 at the time of the Contract award. Engineer Estimate: $391,000 (Base Bid), $65,000 (Additive Alternate Bid), $456,000 (Total Bid) The proposed project will repair guardrail damage. The proposed repair will replace the wood posts with wood or metal posts to the current Caltrans Standards. If the existing end treatment is not consistent with the Manual for Assessing Safety Hardware (MASH).
