DCR is seeking a firm with highly qualified expert(s)to provide legal counsel on CEQA compliance on an as needed basis. The expert(s) must be responsive and well-versed in CEQA, both in an advisory and litigation capacity, as DCR will seek advice for how to comply with CEQA, analysis regarding potential litigation risk, and defending against CEQA lawsuits. Although the expert(s) need not be a practicing attorney, the ideal expert(s) is a practicing attorney who is currently working with CEQA and/or advising or representing local agencies in some capacity. The expert should also have up-to-date knowledge of CEQA and be able to provide DCR with advice regarding future updates of the act. ***Prebid meeting: On the day of the Proposers Conference, attendees who choose to join by phone must call from the same phone number as the one provided in the registration page in order for DCR to verify the attendee's attendance at the conference. Attendees at this Proposers Conference must join the conference on time and stay for the entire duration of the meeting. Attendees are responsible for all information that is presented. The RFP Administrator will announce during the presentation at what point remote attendees are no longer permitted to join the virtual conference. After the announcement, the conference will proceed and no additional remote attendees will be able to register their attendance for the conference. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
