Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Montpelier, Idaho. Completed plans call for the construction of a 11,500-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility.

As of June 26, 2024, all sub-bids have been received. Construction is expected to start July 2024. PROJECT SCOPE: Project consists of a new maintenance facility with drive through vehicle bays, repair bay, overhead crane, vehicle lift, overhead doors, offices, training area, and restrooms. Facility is to be constructed primarily of a pre-engineered metal building with a small portion of masonry and metal stud framing. The facility is roughly 11,500 square feet and is fully sprinkled. Miscellaneous site improvements include new site grading, drainage swales, and upgrading existing fencing and gates. *Subcontractors shall be licensed in the State of Idaho in accordance with the provisions of the Idaho Public Works Contractors' State License Law SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor shall furnish and install all materials for a complete, functional data and voice communications system in accordance with this specification and the contract drawing. Contractor shall be responsible for providing a complete, functional system including all necessary components, whether included in this specification or not. The installation shall include all cable and raceway (twisted-pair copper and fiber optical cabling), conduit raceway, innerduct, interconnect-patching equipment, connectors, and jumpers, wiring blocks and telecommunications outlets. There will be two types of installation - 1) UTP installed in surface mount raceway (approved only in unfinished areas), and 2) UTP installed in conduit and boxes within walls or above ceilings. Multiple drops in a single box within wall will be fed by one vertical raceway with raceway sized to accommodate the required cabling - see building drawings for additional information. In addition to material and equipment, Contractor shall provide labor and any incidental material required for installation. All copper station cables shall be terminated on patch panels at distribution frames and on data communication outlets at the workstation end, all fiber optical cables shall be terminated on rack mounted light interface units (LIU).
