Prequalification to install Water Pipeline LIne stop and temporary bypass connecting to existing 60-inch Ductile Iron Pipe. Install and maintain, line stops (2) per connection at two locations and will install and maintain temporary bypasses (2) connecting to existing active waterline 60-inch DIP water transmission main to a newly constructed 60-inch Steel water transmission main. Q & A deadline: Sep 06, 2024 11:00:00 AM EDT Description of Work Installation of line stop connections shown in the Civil Connection Detail sheet at Douglas Blvd and SE 44 th and the Civil Connection Detail sheet at Douglas Blvd and SE 74th, and per the Project Specifications Section 40 05 76, Tapping Sleeves and Line Stops. Line stops shown in Plans are schematic to show the approximate scope of the proposed construction Project. The line stop operation is planned to occur in Fall 2024 or Winter 2025 to coincide with the need for Project WC-1023 Phase III and the low flow time of the year. Work must be completed while the existing 60-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP) stays in service.
