Renovation of a fire / police facility in Visalia, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
As of June 13, 2024 this project was awarded to Veck Building Group but the awarded amount is not available. Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) Roof Replacement Services, as described herein: Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits (Office of the State Fire Marshall re-roofing permit already obtained, CAL FIRE will provide a copy to the awarded Contractor), taxes, transportation, and fees to remove existing roofing and chimney and install new metal roofing per original construction plans, provided by CAL FIRE. Any damage to decking, supporting members, structural and cosmetic, shall be brought to CAL FIRE's attention, and will be the responsibility of Contractor to repair. Potential Bidders who attended the mandatory pre-bid walk-through may submit written questions regarding the bid by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. All questions should be emailed to janette.galvin@fire.ca.gov. NO QUESTIONS will be accepted after May 21, 2024.
