The bids shall be labeled Sidewalk Replacement Major Work Quantities: o Removal and replacement of 10,000 square feet of 4" sidewalk o Removal and replacement of 1,500 square feet of 6" sidewalk o Furnish 300 lineal feet of full depth saw cutting o Furnish and install 20 curb ramp detectable warning fields o Furnish and install 100 lineal feet of 30" curb and gutter o Furnish and install 5 tons of 3.5 inch asphalt pavement o Furnish and install 1,000 square feet of 4" sidewalk o Furnish and install 250 square feet of 6" sidewalk The above work will be let to the lowest responsible bidder and must be performed in accordance with the specifications and contract now on file with the City Clerk/Treasurer. No bid can be received or considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to five (5%) percent of the bid, or a bid bond in equal amount payable to the City as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within ten (10) days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. In case the bidder fails to file such contract and bond within the time set by the City, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. Plans and detailed specifications, together with the form on contract and bond, and questionnaire to show bidder's proof of responsibility in accordance with Section 66.0901 (2), Wisconsin State Statutes, are on file and may be obtained at the City Clerk/Treasurer's Office. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
