Site work for a swimming pool in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a swimming pool.
A. Work of the Project includes Plumbing, Electrical, and Exterior Improvements to the existing Elephant Yard at the Milwaukee County Zoo. Improvements include: automation and winterization of the existing outdoor pool filling and draining systems, new yard irrigation system, and reconfiguration of service fencing. B. Perform Work of Contract under stipulated sum contract with Owner in accordance with Conditions of Contract. C. Milwaukee County will furnish the Agreement form for signatures and bonding. Draft versions of the agreement forms are included in this project manual. D. Owner will award single Prime Contract as follows: Contract 1 - General Construction Contract Description: Plumbing, Electrical, and Exterior Improvements to the existing Elephant Yard at the Milwaukee County Zoo. Improvements include: automation and winterization of the existing outdoor pool filling and draining systems, new yard irrigation system, and reconfiguration of service fencing. Substantial Completion Date: 12/31/2024 A 10 percent bid bond or certified check is required with bid. The low responsive, responsible bidder will be recommended for contract award. Owner reserves right to reject bid, to waive informalities in bid or to accept bid which will be in best interest of Owner. Base Bid shall remain open to acceptance for a period of 60 days after bid due date.
