Vendors and/or Contractors shall provide a turnkey installation of boilers components and services to upgrade the existing boilers system per the scope of work in the bid documents. Work includes but is not limited to the removal and disposal of (3) old boilers per E.P.A. regulations. The installation of (3) new efficient boilers per specifications, along with modifications to the existing stainless-steel flu pipe, water supply pipes, return pipes, gas, and electrical lines. Along with supplying, and sizing all new piping with insulation, and all necessary items, equipment, and labor needed for a complete installation and proper function of new boilers. Est. Completion Date: Sept. 27, 2024 Questions: Submit written questions to be addressed at Prebid site visit a minimum of two business days prior to the meeting. Scope of Work The following is a general scope of work for the project. The vendor/contractor shall provide the work and materials required for a complete installation that meets local, state, and federal codes. This may not be a completely inclusive list of the required work and materials needed for the turnkey solution. 1. Remove (3) existing boilers per E.P.A regulations and supply and install (3) Lochinvar FBN2001 Crest 99% efficient boilers or approved equal. All spoils generated by this work shall be removed and disposed of off-site by the contractor. 2. Stainless steel flue pipe to be modified as required to meet manufacturers' recommendations for the proper function of new boilers and meet current codes. 3. Reconfigure the heating water supply and return piping as required for the proper function of new boilers and to meet manufacturers' recommendations along with identifying stickers. 4. Reconfigure the existing gas lines to boilers as required to make proper connections to new boilers and to meet manufacturers' recommendations along with identifying stickers. 5. Include all electrical components and modifications as required for proper function and installation of new boilers. 6. All new piping to be insulated.
