The City of Joliet, Illinois, does hereby invite sealed bids for the initial phase of the City's Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) including procuring the ATMS software, 3300 linear feet of 2" RGS conduit, 32,000 linear feet of fiber optic cable and miscellaneous cable terminations and signal cabinet modifications at 48 signalized intersections. All bidders will be required to submit bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid, payable to the City of Joliet Bidders are required to be pre-qualified through Illinois Department of Transportation. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure their IDOT Certificate of Eligibility is included within the sealed bid packet. The Contract shall be subject to the provisions of the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.) to the extent required by law and the City of Joliet Procurement Code (Section 2-430 - 2- 453) of the Code of Ordinances. The City of Joliet reserves the right to reject any and all bids, parts of any and all bids, or to waive technical errors or omissions in bids.
