Bids will be for the furnishing of all necessary materials, machinery, equipment, labor, superintendence, and all other services and appurtenances required for the construction of the "Project" titled 2024 Dripping Springs Roadway Maintenance Project (#MAINT-2024-0002) and shall include acknowledgement of any addenda submitted, and all other documents included in said bid call. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled opening time. Any bids received after scheduled bid opening time will be returned unopened. Said bid shall be marked: "2024 DRIPPING SPRINGS ROADWAY MAINTENANCE PROJECT (#MAINT-2024-0002)" Bids must be submitted on City of Dripping Springs bid forms and must be accompanied by an acceptable bid security in the form of a cashier's check or bid bond, payable to the City of Dripping Springs, Texas, equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. 2024 Dripping Springs Roadway Maintenance Project (#MAINT-2024-0002) generally includes: 12,224 square yards of hot-mix asphaltic overlay pavement, 346 square yards of full depth pavement repair, and 4,813 linear feet of striping improvements. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and any nonconforming Bid and to award the Contract in a period of time not exceeding 60 days from the Bid opening date. Bids shall remain firm for that period. The successful Bidder must furnish a performance bond and payment bond on the forms provided, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, from a surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety.
