NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Compton is accepting written BIDS ("BIDS"), on a competitive basis, from qualified contractors ("Respondents") to award a construction services contract to renovate the restrooms, showers, concession stand, press box, ADA needs. This project includes furnishing all labor and materials needed to complete the renovations and repairs. The City of Compton is requesting proposals from contractors with demonstrated experience in construction and renovation Projects. The selected respondent will follow the scope of work in this RFB for 1101 West Cressey Street Compton, CA 90220. This project includes furnishing all labor and materials needed to complete the renovations of the restrooms, shower, locker room, concession stand, and the press box. The Respondent agrees that, if it is awarded the contract, the wages it, as the successful contractor, will pay to its employees, subcontractors and other agents will not be less than the prevailing wage rate applicable under California law at the time the wages are paid. Bids should only be submitted by State Licensed General Contractors with a Class B License, with a minimum bonding capacity of $1,000,000.00 to $2,000,000.00.
