What the project will include The project will include to improves to the stormwater collection and conveyance system at PVD to reduce infiltration, potentially improve water quality and reduce flow, and convey stormwater runoff away from pavements and safety areas effectively. The PVD airfield stormwater management system includes inlets, manholes, pipe networks, open channels, detention basins, and water quality features. Each sealed bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or satisfactory Bid Bond, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Rhode Island Airport Corporation. The successful bidder will be required to execute and furnish a Performance Bond, and Labor and Materials Payment Bond as security for faithful performance and payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the work. Each security shall be in an amount of not less than 100% of the contract price and shall be in a form acceptable to the Owner. All questions or requests for clarification regarding the bid documents or the project are to be submitted by email to the Office of Procurement via email at procurement@pvdairport.com.
