Site work for a road / highway in Quesnel, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The general nature of the Work to be carried out under this Contract consists of the realignment and reconstruction of 1.37km of Highway 97, and the unloading of crest of the Cottonwood Slide through excavation adjacent to the highway. The Work involves most common aspects of highway construction, as well as, without limitation, the following complex or unusual aspects; Coordination with CN Railway for construction on railway right of way; and Geotechnical monitoring of an active slide area. Project Location: The Site is located on Highway No. 97 in the North Cariboo Service Area approximately 14 km north of the City of Quesnel within LKI Segment 1151 from km 13.91 to km 15.28.
