Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mendham Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work to be performed includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications. The work in this contract includes the construction of approximately 375 square yards of concrete sidewalk, aprons and curb ramps, 380 square yards of concrete driveway apron, 1,105 linear feet of curbing, storm drainage inlet repairs, 12,000 square yards of roadway milling, 325 square yards of hot mix asphalt pavement repair, 1,675 tons of hot mix asphalt pavement, 290 linear feet of pavement markings and other incidental work. An alternate bid will also be received for 80 square yards of concrete sidewalk. All bidders must bid on the alternate bid. Each bid must be made on the prescribed forms furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, including Proposal Form, Schedule of Prices, Bid Bond Guarantee, Site Inspection Affidavit, Acknowledgment of Receipt of Changes to Bid Documents, Stockholder Statement of Ownership, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Consent to Investigation, Bidder's Qualification Form, NJ Business Registration Certificate, Public Works Contractor Registration Certificate, List of Subcontractors, Plan and Equipment Questionnaire, Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran, and Bid Opening Checklist. Bid must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety and a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid, and not to exceed $20,000.00. Bids may be submitted by mail, but will be considered only if received on or before such date and time. State of New Jersey Labor prevailing wage regulations and Standards Provisions will apply. Attention is called to the fact that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their age, race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, marital status, affectional or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, nationality, or sex. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, and PL 1977, c.33. Bidders are required to comply with the New Jersey Business Registration Certificate Law, P.L. 2004, c. 57. Bidders are required to comply with the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, P.L. 1999, c. 238. The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive immaterial informalities, and/or to accept the bid which, in the opinion of the Borough, will be in the best interest of the Borough, all in accordance with the New Jersey Public Contract Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq. No requests for interpretations or questions will be entertained less than 10 days (Saturday, Sunday and holidays excepted) prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. No interpretations of the meaning of the Contract Documents will be made to any Bidder orally. Any and all revisions, interpretations or clarifications will be in the form ofwritten Addenda to the Contract Documents which, if issued, will be provided by certified mail, or by certified facsimile transmission (meaning that the sender's facsimile machine produces a receipt showing the date and time of the transmission and that the transmission was successful) or by a delivery service that provides certification of delivery to the sender, to each ofthe persons who has received a bid package, at the respective addresses furnished for such purpose, not later than seven (7) days Saturday, Sunday or holidays excepted - prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Failure of any bidder to receive any such addenda shall not relieve the bidder from any obligation under such addenda. All addenda so issued shall become part of the Contract Documents. If any addenda materially change the solicitation, the Owner may postpone the date for the opening of the bid
