CLARIFICATION OF TERMS: If any prospective Offeror has questions about the specifications or other solicitation documents, then it is the Offeror’s responsibility to contact the Procurement Officer in writing, no later than 2:00 P.M. (EST) May 20th, 2024. Oral requests for information will not be accepted. The City is seeking qualified Offerors who are able to provide exceptional work in transportation engineering and will be able to assist the City in developing a suitable corridor improvement plan that includes: converting existing travel ways to “complete streets” through appropriately scaled street sections, access management, and intersection improvements that provide opportunity for maximizing on-street parking and street tree planting; improved pedestrian network made up of wide, well-lit sidewalks; the suitability and possible traffic calming to address concerns regarding pedestrian safety and vehicular speeds; and safety features to address the grade differential between the sidewalk and street level in the 700 block.
