Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Stockton, California. Design plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Project scope consists of but is not limited to replacement of 2 aging bridges across the Stockton Channel on Interstate 5. As of January 13, 2026, per the owner, the project is still in Design and Permit acquisition as well as RW acquisition. The project is scheduled to complete Design in Summer 2027 and Construction to begin Late 2027/Early 2028. A Construction manager has been selected through a Construction Manager–General Contractor (CMGC) method.
