Said Proposal shall include all labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. In general, the major work items include: Repair existing EPDM layer at two playground sites (Mira Loma Park and Comstock Park). The existing wear course and 1-inch of the buffing course at these parks shall be completely removed and disposed, and repair or fill voids in buffing material to level surface area. A new 1/2-inch aliphatic wear course and 1-inch buffing course shall be installed per the manufacturer's recommendations. Bid alternates for repairing existing splash pads at Silver Lake Park and Las Brisas Park are also included. Includes any other miscellaneous work as required to meet ASTM standards for playground safety surfaces. The Bidders attention is directed to Nevada Revised Statutes 338.01165 setting forth the requirements for the use of apprentices on public works which requires a contractor or subcontractor to comply with certain requirements relating to the use of apprentices on public works.
