As of July 18, 2024 this project was awarded to Synergen Construction with the awarded amount of $2,457,648 .67. The Scope of Work Includes but is Not Limited to the Construction of a New Concrete Boat Ramp, New Asphalt Parking Lots With Concrete Curb & Gutter, Asphalt Roads, Stone Aggregate Roads, Clearing & Grubbing, Grading & Drainage, Permanent Pavement Marking & Signage, and Fencing in Shreveport, La. Louisiana Licensed Contractor Required for This Project With a Major Classification of Highway, Street, & Bridge Construction. Bid Security Equal to Five Percent (5%) of the Total Bid Shall Be in the Form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier S Check as Prescribed by La Rs 38:2218 Must Be Attached to and Made a Part of the Bid. If a Bid Bond is Provided It Shall Be on the Provided Form and Only on the Provided Form. Bid Bonds Must Be Written by a Qualified Company Licensed to Do Business in Louisiana. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond Written by a Company Licensed to Do Business in Louisiana in an Amount Equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Amount Pursuant to the Requirements Noted in L.r.s. 38:2219 a. (1)(a), (B), and (C). For This Project, Liquidated Damages Will Apply in the Amount of Eight Hundred and Fifty ($850) Per Day for Each Consecutive Working Day Which the Work is Not Completed, Beginning With the First Day Beyond the Established Completion Date of 150 Working Days From Contract Commencement. No Bid May Be Withdrawn for a Period of Forty-five (45) Days After Actual Date of the Opening Thereof. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids in Accordance With Title 38 of the L.r.s. In Accordance With L.r.s. 38:2212.b(1), the Provisions and Requirements Stated in the Bidding Documents Shall Not Be Considered as Informalities and Shall Not Be Waived.
