The Scope of Work for This Project Spans 2 Campuses. One Being Tmcc Dandini Campus at 7000 Dandini Blvd and the Second Being Tmcc Meadowood Campus That Encompasses Both 5250 and 5270 Neil Road. The Base Bid Will Be the Meadowood Campus as Well as the Base Bid of the Dandini Campus as Specified in the Plans on Sheet C-2. The Additive Alternates Are Specified on Sheet C-2 of the Dandini Campus Plans. There Are No Alternates Specified for the Meadowood Campus. The Optional Bid Walk Will Occur on the Dandini Campus. Labor Commissioner #: WA-2024-298 Estimated Cost Range: $3.1M - $3.3M Liquidated Damages: $1,000/day Questions Due Date 1/9/2025 05:00:00 PM (PT) The Aggregate on the General Liability Will Have a Required Limit of $5m or Require a $5m Excess Insurance Policy. Proof of Coverage for Equipment in the Form of Inland Marine Insurance and/or Equipment Breakdown is Also Required. It May Be Added as an Endorsement to Their Gl or a Separate Policy. Please Refer to the Template-owner-contractor Construction Agreement on the Attachments Tab for Limits and Additional Information. Required Insurance if Awarded: Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, and Contractor's Pollution Liability Insurance will be required. Completion of Work: Subject to change by Owner, Work is scheduled to begin on "May 17, 2025" and shall be fully complete by "August 25, 2025." The TMCC Dandini South Campus parking area provides student parking and is subjected to regular passenger vehicle traffic. Comprising of seven lots labeled AA through GG, the South Campus parking lot is primarily accessed via three main two-way entrance driveways located on the north side of Raggio Parkway. Situated within the southern limits of the overall TMCC Dandini campus, the parking lot is bordered to the north by classroom buildings, to the west by undeveloped land and buildings associated with the Desert Research Institute (DRI), to the south by Raggio Parkway, and to the east by an access road and maintenance buildings. Existing features within the South Campus parking area include: o Approximately 292,000 square feet of asphalt concrete pavement spread across lots AA through GG, nearing the end of its useful design life and displaying signs of fatigue, thermal cracking, and raveling distress. o Concrete curb and gutter installations. Pedestrian enhancements like sidewalks, steps, and flat work areas. o Landscape islands featuring grass, small shrubs, and mature deciduous trees, with some trees reaching heights of up to 18 feet, distributed throughout the parking area. Topography from Washoe County GIS data indicate the south campus parking area is situated on gently to moderately sloping terrain, with elevations ranging from a high of 4,978 feet near the eastern limits of the parking lot to a low of 4,940 feet near the southwestern corner. Drainage management primarily relies on sheet flow directed toward storm drain inlets.
