As of February 7, 2025, project was awarded to Sandco, LLC, awarded amount is $4,282,022.85. The proposed Project shall be constructed pursuant to the final construction documents available in Bonfire. Project Bid must comply with all applicable permit requirements. The proposed project consists of a park situated at the southwest corner of the Orange Avenue and Meridian Street intersection. The Project will be constructed near the existing Orange Avenue Stormwater Management Facility and will consist of improvements for a playground with a shade structure and exercise area including fitness equipment, an impervious trail around the stormwater pond, paved parking lot, landscaping, a restroom building, food truck parking, open gathering space, and picnic pavilions. In addition, park signs are proposed at both entrances. The Scope of Work for this Project involves earthwork, pavement construction, curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks, signs and pavement markings, drainage improvements, and utilities for the construction of the Project.
