Scope of Work: Lee COUNTY Board of COUNTY Commissioners seeks to contract with a qualified CONTRACTOR to provide in-building coverage-enhancement systems that include a multi-source distributed antenna system (DAS) and bi-directional amplifiers (BDA) to provide reliable voice and data cellular communications within the COUNTY'S Emergency Operations Center (EOC) campus which includes, the Emergency Operations Center, Public Safety Center Expansion, and the EDU . CONTRACTOR shall have a broad range of capabilities in designing and deploying BDA Systems and DAS's that provide in-building coverage. *The Request for Proposal shall be received in a sealed envelope, prior to the time scheduled to receive proposals, and shall be clearly marked with the solicitation name, solicitation number, proposer name, and contact information as identified in these solicitation documents. CONTRACTOR shall work with AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile to identify any existing bi-directional amplifiers or signal sources currently utilized in the building that can be repurposed for integration into new DAS head end. . CONTRACTOR shall provide design services using in-building design software to accurately model inbuilding wireless performance for the purposes of identifying head-end equipment, remotes, distribution antennas, and coaxial cable runs. . The DAS equipment shall support multiple signal inputs from each signal source provided for each wireless carrier. The distribution network shall support wireless enhancement for all three (3) carriers. . The CONTRACTOR shall work with Lee COUNTY to confirm the system design and receive approval for equipment installation locations and power requirements. . The CONTRACTOR shall serve as a liaison between the commercial carriers and Lee COUNTY to confirm all requirements for the installation and ongoing operation of cellular BDA and DAS equipment within the EOC. This includes procedure for access, maintenance procedures, network requirement, power requirements, leases, and any other pertinent requirements that involve coordination with and/or approval from Lee COUNTY
