The City of Herculaneum will be accepting sealed bids for the purchase & installation of a fire alarm system for public works. The City of Herculaneum is requesting proposals from qualified fire alarm design and installation companies for a retrofit design and installation of a fire alarm system and monitoring at Herculaneum Public Works, located at 155 Riverview Plaza Drive, Herculaneum, Missouri 63048. Specifications Design and installation of a point-to-point fire alarm & Co system in compliance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code (NFPA 72) 2022 edition, to include but not limited to the following: Includes all materials and labor required for the engineering, calculations, design, and installation of the system. Plans must be stamped by an appropriate design professional. The scope of work shall include system installation, wiring, notification, relays, cutting, coring, patching, removal or adjustment and re-installation of the ceiling tiles/drywall when necessary. Areas of the building equipped with dropped ceilings shall have equipment installed centerline of the ceiling tiles where necessary. NICET III installation technician to oversee the installation. Intelligent fire alarm control panel that has point-to-point notification to the panel and to the dispatch center to be installed in electrical room. The system shall have a cellular module to monitor the system. Notifier panel to silence, acknowledge and identify alarm sounding at the front entrance. All Smoke & Heat Detectors, Horns & Strobes shall be aligned in all directions when multiple devises are in the same area and are in the same line of sight.
