Weber County Purchasing, on behalf of the Roads Department, invites your company to bid on providing Milling and Overlay Services. Starting at the Farr West City / Weber County line going north and ending on the south side of the entrance at 2446 N. Rulon White BLVD. Additionally, we would like to mill and overlay 400 ft. on both sides of the given intersection at 2350 N & Rulon White BLVD, along with the intersection of 2150 N & Rulon White BLVD. This project will span approximately 4,100 feet in length and 50 feet in width along Rulon White BLVD, with an additional 1,200 feet in length and 45 feet in width along 2350 N & 2150 N. Required Services: Rotter mill 3" of asphalt below the existing curb maintaining at least two percent slope to the crown. Contractor will be responsible for disposing the millings Overlay 3.5" of asphalt with the new APWA HMA PG grade 58 - 28, 15% RAP, 75 gyrations Survey and layout of paint markings to match existing lines; marking every 50 feet. Weber County will be responsible for painting when job is completed. Coordinate with Weber County Roads Director Collaring all water valves and manholes in the given stretch Traffic control, signage and flagging;. Set up message boards seven days prior to start date alerting of road construction. The County will determine the low bidders based upon price(s) bid. Award will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest cost including delivery and any additional costs. The County reserves the right to award multiple purchase orders to the responsive, responsible bidders meeting specifications who bid the lowest overall cost to the County. Weber County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality or irregularity in any bid or bids, if to do so is in the best interest of the County.
