As of June 18, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Bids are invited upon the several items and quantities of work as follows: Item 1. - 2,910 LF of 8" PVC Directional Bore Item 2. - 7 EA Hydrants Item 3. - 33 EA Gate Valves Item 4 - 53 EA Service Replacements A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the City of Sumner, IL, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Bids may be held by the City of Sumner, IL for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. The City of Sumner, IL reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
