Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Construction of the 2024 PAVING PROGRAM includes: pulverizing asphaltic pavement, excavation, grading, base aggregate dense, concrete curb & gutter, culvert replacement, curb ramp installations, asphaltic pavement, pavement marking, guard rail replacement, traffic control and erosion control. Approximate major quantities include: 5,725 square yards of pulverize asphaltic pavement, 4,570 cubic yards of excavation, 3,400 tons of base aggregate dense, 2,900 tons of asphaltic pavement, 910 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter, 2,150 square feet of concrete sidewalk, 160 linear feet of culvert pipe, 125 linear feet of guardrail and 4,650 linear feet of pavement marking. \ This is a unit price contract. The estimated quantities as indicated above and on the Bid Schedule are inserted only for the purpose of determining the low bidder. Project is to be substantially complete on, or before, October 25, 2024. \ The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54, 62.15 and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Owner in an amount of five (5) percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 15 days after the Award, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to Owner as liquidated damages. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and the right to accept the Bid or Bids which best serve the interests of the Owner, Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price. Prime Contractor(s) shall furnish listing of all subcontractors and suppliers performing labor and supplying materials under the Contract that individually have a total value of $1,000 or more.
