F. O. B. Destination: It is the basic policy of the City to receive goods F. O. B.( free on board) Destination, which means that freight Quote Required By Send Quote To charges are paid by the seller who owns and assumes all risk for the goods until they are accepted at the designated delivery point.
The cost of shipping the goods may be included in the quoted price or by the seller as a separate line item.
Request for Quotes to install a new architectural shingle roof at 310 Holbrook Street ROOF, CHIMNEYS AND GUTTERS
a. Tear off and discard metal " A" roof and front porch. DO NOT
replace any EPDM that' s new.
b. Install ALL new 7/ 16 O. S. B on " A" roof and the front porch.
Plywood clips are not required if overlaying the plywood.
c. Install painted metal roofing on the front porch with in-kind like material.
d. Install snow guards on front porch roof.
e. Install white aluminum drip edge on all roof edges.
f. Install synthetic felt paper on the front porch roof only. Felt paper must be installed Horizontal not vertical.
g. Install Ice and Water Shield at all eaves and rakes, in valleys, around chimneys for" A" roof and front porch.
h. Install 15# roofing felt on the entire roof. Felt paper must be installed Horizontal not vertical.
i. Install 30- year architectural fiberglass shingles, Class-A self-sealing roofing shingles on " A" roof. Include new flashing on all vents, chimneys, and valleys.
j. Install 32 ft. of ridge vent ( Shingle over vent) on ridge of roof. Using a chalk line, strike a line on either side ofthe ridge board 7/ 8 of an inch down from the ridge board at the peak of the roof. If you have trusses, you should strike the chalk line such that it will create a gap 1- 3/ 4 inches across the peak when you get to the cutting step.
k. Tear out and discard approx.: 300 LF gutter board/ soffitt/ fascia.
1. Install new gutter board/ soffit/ fascia 300 L.F. ( Match Existing)
NOTE: Contractor shall verify roof and house size prior to bidding.
Also: All roofs will be inspected for proper installation.
Contractor is responsible for all permits. All work is to be done in a WORKMANLIKE manner. Work being done shall meet all existing
State and Local Codes.
All the exterior work on the house must match the original designed.
