Asphalt Maintenance Services. Question Deadline 05/14/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Questions arising after the Pre-bid Meeting shall be emailed to Ty Stephens (Ty.Stephens@wakegov.com) Questions will be received through The final addendum will be issued on or about May 17, 2024. Description - The work consists of sealing existing longitudinal and transverse pavement cracks and joints with hot applied joint sealer at locations as directed by the Engineer. The Contractor will not be required to seal the existing edge joints. Materials - Provide a hot applied joint sealer that conforms to ASTM D6690. Wake County reserves the right to reject pavement that does not meet the specifications for density and/or thickness or is otherwise found to be unacceptable. Pavement that is rejected by Wake County will be removed and replaced by the contractor at no additional cost. Wake County is soliciting bids for the asphalt repairs, crack seal, asphalt seal coat, and parking lot striping for seven Wake County fire station facilities. General layouts of the asphalt surface to be bid upon are included in the bid package, which provide intended scope for the location and approximate quantities. The quantities provided are intended to be a guide only. The bidder shall be responsible for verifying all measurements and quantities.
