The Project includes the construction of approximately 22,000 linear feet of 8-inch or 10-inch sanitary sewer mains and appurtenances, 8,000 linear feet of 6" laterals, 1,800 linear feet of 6-inch force mains, 1,200 linear feet of pressure sewer mains and one submersible pumping station within the Village of Oneida Castle. The contractor shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, or sex in the performance of this contract. The contractor shall carry out applicable requirements of 40 CFR Part 33 in the award and administration of contracts awarded under EPA financial assistance agreements. Failure by the contractor to carry out these requirements is a material breach of this contract which may result in termination of this contract or other legally available remedies. This project was originally bid March 4th, 2021, and again on February 15th, 2022, but both bids were rejected due to extensive project costs. Additional funding was sought and granted which has allowed the Village to bid this project again. The project start date is anticipated to be before August 1, 2024. The Work will be substantially completed within 270 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Paragraph 4.01 of the General Conditions, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions within 180 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run.
