Sealed bids shall be accompanied by a five percent (5%) bid security in the form described in the Instruction to Bidders, and shall include all the required bid forms, affidavits and statements. The Board of Contract & Supply resolved issuance of this bid proposal on February 8, 2024. The BOARD OF CONTRACT AND SUPPLY reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informalities in the bid. Questions Before Bidding All questions regarding plans and specifications shall be addressed to the City Engineer in writing at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid due date. Questions, ambiguities or contradictions within these specifications shall be clarified only by written addenda. A certified, cashiers, treasurers, or banker's check or Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) shall accompany each proposal as bid security. Within Fifteen (15) calendar days of written Notification of Award, the successful bidder shall deliver executed contracts, the performance and labor/materials bonds in the amount of 100%, conditioned for the faithful performance of the contract, at the prices bid in the proposal, and conditioned for payment of subcontractors for materials and labor purchased for performance of the contract, and also submit proofs of all types of insurances listed in the specifications. Commencement and Completion of Work The successful bidder shall commence work within seven (7) calendar days of Notice to Proceed and complete work by September 30th, 2024.
